Children 4 to 14 quiet well- mannered children and young adults $80. Disruptive children may be asked to leave. "We are on a boat" I am not politicly correct, but I am however the Captain.

THE STARS OF THE SHOW:

Meet Percy the dancing Pelican, Sea Eagles and other wildlife very close to the boat, whilst watching Giant Rays through the boats glass bottom. You may see Kangaroos in the wild.

We cross to Green Island which was Western Australia’s first vegetable garden and
is now home to one of only four Pelican breeding grounds in Western Australia.
Then cross Oyster Harbour to the Kalgan River. Seen regularly are Pelicans
Eagles Hawks and a wide range of other bird life.

History, Bird Life, Bush Poetry, Wildflowers and see  Kangaroo's in the wild up close and personal. Billy Tea, Coffee and Captain Kalgan's famous  Hot Savoury Damper. All aboard Albany's world unique" Kalgan Queen Riverboat"- Bringing you closer to nature.You will experience the true beauty of this unspoiled area at the same time as enjoying what is truly a memory for life!

No trip to Albany is complete without a cruise on the award winning Kalgan Queen. Starting at Emu Point you meet the Pelicans and often get to see the Giant Rays through the glass bottom of the boat and thats before you even start!

The Captain will point out all the points of interest on the cruise. Gaze through bottom at the remains of an old wreck, then past Green island which was Western Australias first vegetable garden at the start of the settlement in 1827 and is one of only four permanent Pelican nesting grounds in WA. Look up as Sea Eagles often swoop down to catch a fish near the boat. Sometimes they see Dolphins and Seals as well. You can learm more about Albany in four hours than some locals do in a life time.
